On November 25, 2020, within the framework of the NATO Defence Education Enhancement Program (DEEP), researchers from the Language Testing and Research Centre of the Foreign Languages Education and Research Centre of the National University of Defence of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi participated in the first online working meeting on the development of language tests "Virtual Meeting #1 on STANAG 6001 Testing".

On November 24, 2020, the scientific and practical seminar on the topic “Features of Radio Troops, Communication Troops, Radio Engineering, Automation and Information Systems Military Units Training and Application in Modern Conditions” was held in the Radio-Technical and Special Troops Department of the Institute of Aviation and Air Defence in compliance with quarantine limitations.

Defence Education Enhancement Program (DEEP) organized three-day online workshop on 16-18 November, 2020 to identify best practices and lessons learned by Allied and partner professional military education (PME) institutions in transforming education from residential to non-residential distance learning during the 2020 COVID-19 evolution. This workshop (and a follow-on conference in 2021) is designed to report on NATO efforts concerning the development of the strategy and follow-on planning approaches to support advanced distance learning for Allied/partner PME.

According to the order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine as of 04.04.2017 №202 (amended) “On the organization and conduct of advanced training of servicemen, employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, civil servants of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, by decision of the Director of the Department of Military Education and Science Of Ukraine on November 16, 2020 the Language Testing and Research Centre of the Foreign Language Education and Research Center of Ivan Cherniakhovskyi National University of Defense of Ukraine has launched an online language testing advanced and professional course in accordance with NATO standard STANAG 6001 for the first time.

During the week, the officers of the Joint Chiefs of Staff L-3 Course were trained according to NATO standards in the English Language on Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC).
