The center of retraining and in-service education of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi continues the training foreign countries students in accordance with the previously concluded contractual obligations.

Despite some difficulties in adapting the educational process, the using of distance learning platform Moodle allows to implement different ways of interaction between teachers and students, as well as testing of non-traditional approaches to the preparation and training in the university.

The centre has presented two strategic communication study books, which were uploaded to the NDU E-library such as Basic Concepts of Strategic Communications in National Security and Defence and NATO Strategic Communications Terminology Guide (adapted translation of Improving NATO Strategic Communications Terminology (NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence).

Anti-epidemic measures implementation in the Country has made significant adjustments to the University's educational process, which is currently taking place using distance learning technologies.

On March 12th, the Canadian Armed Forces Initiative Group held an international seminar on the topic “Problematic of mine action issues and counteraction explosive threats” with the involvement of representatives of the Armed Forces of Canada, the United States, the Ukraine, the representatives of the National Guard of Ukraine and Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

In early March, the University delegation paid a working visit to the Baltic Defence College.

On March 5 and 6, the Baltic Defence College hosted the annual international security conference "Russia on the World: Vision and Realities", which was attended by the University representatives for the third time.

In accordance with the curriculum, scientific and pedagogical personnel and the students of Aviation and Air Defense Institute took part in a practical training session on the basis Air Force Training Center of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They have worked out the issues of radio-technical troops units management during combat missions in difficult conditions.

Today, February 28, a solemn graduation of CIVELT "Certificate in Vocational English Teachers (for ESP)" students was held at the FLRC of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi.

The event took place on the shooting range of the 169 Training Center "Desna" with the reserve officers trainees,acquiring the specialty "Combat use of mechanized units", of the Department of Military Training of the National Defence University named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi.
