The visit was organized at the invitation and with the assistance of the Danish side and was dedicated to the further development of cooperation between educational and scientific institutions. Danish Adviser to the Commander of the NDU Frank Episen took an active part in organizing and conducting the visit.

Today, on February 24, the CIVELT Teachers' Training Course for English Language Teachers was launched at the Foreign Languages Educational and Scientific Center ( FLERC) of the UNDU named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi. The aim of the course is to develop teaching skills and master the methodology of teaching English for Specific Purpose.

On February 24, a business defence planning course for representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine and the National University of Defense launched at the NDUU with the participation and direct guidance of specialists from the Ministry of Defense of Canada and the Embassy of Canada in Ukraine.

For four weeks, the university conducted a training course for the professional level development of the logistics military management bodies officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The training was designed to provide military personnel, who are scheduled for the appointment as a senior level sergeants, the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties at the required level and to train sergeants, capable of working with subordinate personnel, as well as directly manage or participate in the management of the unit.

The delegation of the Republic of Lithuania visited the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi on the 19-th of February. As part of the visit, the High Level Strategic Advisor to the MOD and AF reform committee from the republic of lithuania Major-General (retired) Vitalyus Vykshnoras delivered a lecture for student-officers of the Strategic Level Course (L4) at the University.

In accordance with NATO DEEP, the representatives of the University participated in the third working group concerning the Computer Adaptive Language Testing (CALT) development according to NATO STANAG 6001 from February 14-18, 2020 at the Polish Naval Academy of the Heroes of Westerplatte in Gdynia.

From 10th to 14th February, 2020, the delegation of the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi visited the Norwegian Defense University Collage (Oslo, Kingdom of Norway).

Today, February 12, theXI International sports and athletic contest "Officer Starts" commenced at the National Defence University of Ukraine. The participants are teams of the General Staff, the Armed Forces of Ukraine services, the Ukrainian security service teams and the representatives of foreign countries. Deputy commander of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, lieutenant-general Rodion Tymoshenko, Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Ministry of Defenсe of Ukraine Yuri Finohenov, Director of the Research Institute of the Armed Forces of Ukraine lieutenant-general Ihor Romanchenko, Advisor to the President of the Ukrainian Football Association Valentyn Latypov, prorector of the National security service academy colonel Victor Makarenko greeted the paticipants on the start of the competition.

Representatives of the United Kingdom Defense Academy have paid a working visit to the University as part of international military cooperation activities.
