In the Multinational Staff Officers Training and Research Centre the UN Military Observer Course and Aviation Radio Communication Course for Aircrews of National Contingents are proceeding.

During the January 29-30, students of the Institute of State Military Management of the University conducted a military-strategic game on the topic related to the development of proposals for the State Defence Concept and the draft of the State Defence Plan.

From 27 January to 22 February the NATO Delegation to Ukraine is conducting a training and qualification course on the training of military management bodies personnel Armed Forces Logistics Of Ukraine with the participation of representatives of the Military Technical Academy of the Republic of Poland and advisers on logistics and standardization of the NATO Liaison Office.

24 січня 2019 року в університеті відбувся черговий випуск слухачів центру перепідготовки та підвищення кваліфікації за напрямком “Розвиток та удосконалення системи управління Збройних Сил України”.

On January 17, a delegation of the NATO Response Force, led by Major General John Mead, Joint Chief of Staff, visited the University. The purpose of the visit was to discuss new possible areas of cooperation and to analyze the results of the work undertaken.

The course aims to study in detail the main aspects of the pre-deployment training and conduct of international peacekeeping operations under the auspices UN and NATO, get acquainted with NATO terminology on operational planning process.

From October to December, 2019, at Scientific Distance Learning Center of the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi 123 students have participated in the advanced training course on the organization and use of distance learning technologies in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On January 10, the leadership courses on Advanced Programs for Officers of Joint Operations (L3) and Senior Management (L4) have started at the University. The programs are adapted according to the widespread use of officer training in NATO member countries' military education systems, in particular the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL).
