With the assistance of the Norwegian Embassy in Ukraine, a new edition of the book "Security in Northern Europe, Containment, Defense and Dialogue" was presented at the National Defense University of Ukraine. The event was attended by representatives of the military-diplomatic corps accredited in Ukraine, listeners, research and teaching staff of the NDU.

On the basis of the National Defence University of Ukraine the international brigade command-staff exercise(CSE) was completed. It involved more than 100 officers - students of the command and staff institute of troops (forces) implementation of the NDU, as well as trainees and instructors of the command and staff course of the General Military Academy named after General Jonas Jamaitis. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine MarusYanuconis was accompanied by Colonel AlgirdasNorkus, Defence Attaché of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine, Romania and Moldova.

The Logistic Sustainment Planning Course with a participation of the representatives of “Orbital” training mission was held from 4th till 15th of November held in the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi” for the scientists-academics of the Institute of Force Sustainment and Information Technologies of the university as well as for the representatives of operational staff of logistics.

In accordance with the contractual documents training of two military servicemen of the People's Republic of China and one serviceman of the Republic of Korea continue at foreign language courses at the Center of Retraining and Improving Qualification at the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi.

On November 13-14, the National Defence University of Ukraine hosted the Orientation course on information internal and external environment assessment. The event was jointly organized by the Education and Scientific Centre for Strategic Communications in National Security and Defence and United States European Command with cooperation of Ukrainian Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Strategic Communications Adviser Douglas E. Jordan.

As part of the third phase of developing training programs in logistics, a round table was held with the participation of NATO logistics experts.

From November 12 to November 15, the NATO-Ukraine Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP) will host a seminar at the university to develop training programs for logistics with the view to meet the standards of the Alliance's leading countries in training military professionals at all levels of education.

From 03 to 07 November 2019 in Oberammergau, Germany, the training on distance learning technology organized and sponsored by the NATO DEEP was held

Traditionally, the event is organized by European Security and Defence College (ESDC) with the support of the Austrian Ministry of Defense. ESDC conducts similar events in other countries in the context of the Eastern Partnership platform.
