According to the Plan of Cooperation Ukraine-NATO for 2019 in the framework of DEEP (Defence Education Enhancement Program) the group of officers of National Defence University named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi under supervision of the Head of the Humanitarian Institute, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Colonel Vasyl Osodlo held the course “Military Leadership” with students of Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv Military Air Force University during the period from October 23 to October 26, 2019..

From October 18 to October 20, 2019, cadets of the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports and Health Technology as a part of the Kyiv national team took part in the Ukrainian Two-way Combat Cup.

On October 16, 2019, Two major Courses of the Centre of Retraining and Improving qualification of the National Defence University of Ukraine after named Ivan Cherniakhovskyi began their training.

The National Defence University (the NDU) as supported by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (the OSCE) hosted the two day “Democratic Civil Control over Armed Forces of Ukraine” courses for first year fulltime students of operational and strategic levels.

Multinational Staff Officers Training and Research Centre (MSOTRC) is conducting UN Staff and Liaison Officers Course (07.10–08.11.2019). The course is set up for preparation of UN staff and liaison officers and provides theoretical and practical training according to UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations standards. After familiarizing with basics of the UN Headquarter work, the course participants proceed to the UN planning process byUN headquarter sections,in accordance with the scenario.

The Advisor to the Head of the University for Gender Affairs Liudmyla Krymets from 7 to 11 October is visiting the Scandinavian Center for Gender in Military Operations, where she has a possibility to train and get an interaction on gender policy military leaders and civilian staff of NATO member states and partner countries.
