Multinational Staff Officers Training and Research Centre (MSOTRC) is conducting UN Staff and Liaison Officers Course (07.10–08.11.2019). The course is set up for preparation of UN staff and liaison officers and provides theoretical and practical training according to UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations standards. After familiarizing with basics of the UN Headquarter work, the course participants proceed to the UN planning process byUN headquarter sections,in accordance with the scenario.

The Advisor to the Head of the University for Gender Affairs Liudmyla Krymets from 7 to 11 October is visiting the Scandinavian Center for Gender in Military Operations, where she has a possibility to train and get an interaction on gender policy military leaders and civilian staff of NATO member states and partner countries.

On October 9, 2019 a graduation ceremony was held at the Center of Retraining and Improving Qualification at the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi.

From 2 to 4 October 2019, the leadership of the Center for Military and Strategic Studies in the framework of the NATO-Ukraine Platform participated in a meeting of the Expert group of the NATO-Ukraine Science and Technology Organization (STO NATO) hybrid warfare panel in Paris, France.

On October 1-3, 2019, representatives of our University, namely the Head of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Health Technologies, Colonel Alexander Petrachkov and the Leading Researcher Nadiya Vysocina participated in the III International Scientific Conference “Sports and Innovation”, which was held at the University of Physical Education in Budapest (Hungary).

The 22th ESRI User Conference was held in Kyiv, Puscha Vodytsia, on September 26-27, 2019, at the Congress Hotel Pushcha.

On September 27th, the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference on the Challenges of ADL Implementation in the Educational Process of Higher Military Educational Institutions and Possible Ways of their Solution, organized by the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi with the support of the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Norway.

“Rapid Trident-2019” Multinational Command Post Exercise is ongoing at the International Peacekeeping and Security Center (Lviv region), with more than 3,500 troops from 14 countries. The purpose of the CPX is to exchange professional experience and to increase the level of interoperability between the units and headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the United States, other NATO member states and partners. The CPX phase of the training is supported by JCATS simulation tools.

From 23th to 26th September the NATO Training Group Task Group for Individual Training and Education Developments is holding its twice-annual meeting at the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi.
