Тhe graduation ceremony of the military students from the leadership courses of the operational and tactical level and operational and strategic level of the Higher academic courses were held at the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovkyi.

The newly appointed High Level Strategic Advisor of the Committee for Reforms of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Republic of Lithuania, Major General (retired) Vitaliyus Vaisknoras, formerly the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Lithuania, a military representative Lithuania in NATO and the EU visited the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi.

The Deputy Commandant of the University Colonel Valerii Dobrogurskyi and the Chief of the University's Advanced Distributed Learning Center Lieutenant Colonel Maksym Tyshchenko took part in the NATO Training Technology Conference, Virginia Beach, USA.

On the basis of the National University of Defenсe of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi, two different level groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officers, in particular from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, have been trained in the English language course. The project was launched with the assistance of the US Embassy in Ukraine Defence Cooperation Department.

On June 11 – 12, the representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine joined “The Riga StratCom Dialogue 2019”. The specialists of the Education and Research Centre for National Defence and Security Strategic Communications of the Kyiv National Defence University of Ukraine participated in it.

On June 11-12, 2019, colonel Vasyl Osodlo, Chief of the Humanitarian Institute, colonel Serhii Nevhad, Chief of the Scientific Center for Language Testing, and other representatives from the departments of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovkyi participated in the international conference “Strengthening the Quality Assurance System of Higher Education in Ukraine” held in Kyiv.

The National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi has been visited by the delegation of the Royal Defence College, headed by college chief Vice-Admiral Henrik Ruberg.

This week, the Central Officers’ House of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has become a venue for the information capabilities seminar given by the mentors of the Joint Special Operations University (Florida, the USA). The course is supported by the Special Operations Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The participants of the International scientific forum discussed development priorities of the state naval capabilities.

From 20 to 23 of May, 2019, the international military tournament "Baltic military cup 2019" was held in Vilnius.
