From March 25 to May 17, 2019, at Scientific Distance Learning Center of the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi more than 80 students have participated in the advanced training course on the organization and use of distance learning technologies in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

May13th-16th, 2019 Deputy Commandant for Academic Affairs of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi Maj.Gen Serhii Salkutsan and Chief of ADL Center Lt.Col Maksym Tyshchenko participated in the 7th annual NORDEFCO ADL Conference in Gol, Norway.

This week, the Central Officers’ House of the Armed Forces of Ukraine became the venue for the Strategic Communications training given by the US representatives.

On May 7, 2019, a practical training session with the use of the Simulation Modeling System (JCATS) was conducted within the framework of international cooperation activities between the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the International Committee of the Red Cross at the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovsky. The first-year students were involved into the training.

On the base of the National Defence University named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi educational center the field training were conducted within the first year study of the he command staff institute of troops (forces) application student-officers.

The Central Officers’ House of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hosts a three-day training on NATO campaigns and operations assessment. The representatives of Kyiv National Defence University participate in it.

From 22 to 25 April, the Advanced Distributed Learning Working Group (ADL WG) held its first workshop of the season in Skopje, the Republic of North Macedonia. The workshop emphasized the progress made by nations and institutions comparatively new to ADL, and also focused on the visioning training technology in the next 20 years and application to language training.

The event took place at the National Defense University named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi. The department was foundeon on that day 25 years ago.

On April 22-26 exercises were held with the participation of the PhD students of the Aviation and Air Defence Institute of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi in the Brigade of Tactical Aviation. The main task of this exercises were to train the PhD students in their duties on future positions

Representatives of our university took part in The 12th Conference of Baltic Society of Sport Sciences „Sport Science for Sports Practice and Teacher’s Training“ and prepared an agreement on cooperation between the National University of Ukraine and Education Academy of the Vitautas Magnus University.
