According to the Plan of International Cooperation of Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the leadership of the Main Department of Moral and Psychological provision of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the period from 23-25.04.2019 on the base of National Military Medical Clinical Center "Main Military Clinical Hospital" (Kyiv) conducted a behavioral health course-training by a mobile training group of the USA Armed Forces in Europe.

Students of Humanitarian Institute participated in the International Scientific Conference “Aviation and Extreme Psychology in the Context of Technological advances”, which was held by Aviation Psychology Department of Faculty of Linguistics and Social Communications of in the context of 2nd International Symposium “Humanitarian Discourse of the Multicultural World: Science, Education, Communication”.

On April 25, 2019 the students graduated from the Professional Development and Advanced Training Center of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi.

On April 23, the National Defence University of Ukraine became a venue for a meeting of Deputy Commandant for Education Major General Serhii Salkutsan and strategic communications foreign advisor Douglas Jordan (US) who provides advisory support to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

On April 16, 2019, the scientific and practical seminar on the theme «Contemporary Issues of Improvement of Educational Process in the System of Internal Quality Assurance of Higher Education» was held by the Department of General Sciences of Humanitarian Institute

The fourth graduation ceremony of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of the People's Republic of China, who trained at the Centre of Retraining and Improving Qualification took place at the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi.

On April 17, 2019, the scientific and practical seminar on the topic “Features of Radio Troops, Communication Troops, Radio Engineering, Automation and Information Systems Military Units Training and Application in Modern Conditions” was held in the Radio-Technical and Special Troops Department of the Institute of Aviation and Air Defence.

April 16-17, 2019 in Chernihiv representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) with the participation of specialists of the Simulation center of the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi held a seminar on the study of norms of International Humanitarian Law with the servicemen of the Operational Command "North" of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This event was conducted in accordance with the Joint Action Plan of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the International Committee of the Red Cross for 2019.

Sportsmen of the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi took part in the Military All-round Sports Championship of Ukraine in the section "Combat double event" in Kharkiv from April 12 to April 14

During April 10-11, 2019, on the basis of Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University under the leadership of the Commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel-General Serhiy Drozdov held an international scientific conference "Advanced technologies - to protect airspace".
