Online Meeting on the Development of Computer Adaptive Language Testing

Within the framework of the NATO DEEP (Defence Education Enhancement Program) from 20 to 24 July 2020, the representatives of the Research Advanced Distributed Learning Centre, the Foreign Languages Education and Research Centre and the NATO DEEP Program participated in the online meeting on the development of Computer Adaptive Language Testing in accordance with the NATO STATAG 6001 requirements.

The participants managed to discuss the aspects related to the further development of the relevant software, namely the creation of an analytical reporting component, improving the test development process, the extension of functions concerning the restricts users’ access and software security issues.

The directions for further development of this project were discussed, the main ones are the development of writing and speaking tests according to the NATO STANAG 6001 requirements.

The representative of NATO DEEP Program Piotr Gawliczek expressed sincere words of gratitude for the fruitful work, significant result and expectations for further cooperation with the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi.
