THE COURSE ON THE ORGANIZATION AND USE OF DISTANCE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES IN THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE HAVE BEEN HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY

The teaching staff preparation for the use of modern information technologies becomes extremely important in the context of the educational activities reorganization of higher military education institutions and the transition to the intensive use of distance learning technologies.

One of the most effective tools for maintaining the high professional level of military teachers is the self-development courses for scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff which have been held at the National defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi for several years.

 Another step in this context was to conduct the interactive Course on the organization and use of distance learning technologies in the Armed Forces of Ukraine which finished this time 53 teachers of higher military educational institutions and military training units of higher educational institutions of Ukraine.

Traditionally, this course was conducted completely on-line that significantly reduced the financial costs of training.

The Course participants obtained the necessary skills on use of distance learning technologies in the educational process, create of distance learning courses using existing software, manage the learning process and control the quality of the educational process during the distance course using the capabilities of the Moodle platform.

Special attention was paid to the issue of video and audio conferences organization using the BigBlueButton component which proved to be very relevant and effective in the conditions of quarantine restrictions.

With the support of webinars, military educators were able to share the existing experience of using distance learning technologies and establish connections for further cooperation between their educational institutions.
