The University delegation visited the Baltic Defence College

In early March, the University delegation paid a working visit to the Baltic Defence College.

During the visit, a series of meetings were held with the Comandant of the College, Major General Andis Dilans, to discuss further cooperation between the educational institutions.

The parties held a series of briefings during which agreements were reached to continue cooperation in the development of educational programs for the training of specialists at the operational and strategic levels, the development of the theory of teaching leadership at different levels, the theory of project management and defence planning.

The representatives of the hosting side, Dr Zdzislaw Sliwa, Dean, Col Ilmar Tamm, Cource Director JCGSC/CSC, Dr Asta Maskaliunaite, Director DPS, Kristine Atmante, Curricullum Developer and Coordinator and Education Harmoniser, Col (ret) Clirim Toci, Lecturer NATO Joint Operations also took part at the meetings.

During the visit to the Baltic Defence College, the Ukrainian delegation also took part in the Day of the Distinguished Guests, during which the management of the college presented the vision and mission of the institution, the historical background of its establishment, the main educational programs and achievements in the field of education, as well as the objectives for the near future.
