In the framework of NATO DEEP Program (Defence Education Enhancement Program) the representatives of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi participated in the second working group concerning the Computer Adaptive Language Testing (CALT) development according to NATO STANAG 6001 from July 26-30, 2019 at the Polish Naval Academy of the Heroes of Westerplatte in Gdynia.
Chief of the ADL Center Lt. Col. Maksym Tyshchenko, Senior Research Fellow of the Foreign Languages Educational and Research Center Maj. Viktoriia Krykun, NATO DEEP representatives Mr. Piotr Gawliczek and Mr. Artur Starosz, Chair of Partnership for Peace Consortium Advanced Distributed Learning Working Group Ms. Greta Keremidchieva, Head of Testing Team at Rakovski National Defense College Ms. Anna Dimitrova Guncheva and representatives of the Polish Naval Academy of the Heroes of Westerplatte participated in the event.
The subjects of the discussion were aspects related to the approbation of the Bulgarian CALT and the current state of the relevant software development by the Ukrainian side.
The certificate ceremony was held by Rear-Admiral Professor Tomasz Szubrycht, PhD, DSc, Rector-Commandant of the Polish Naval Academy of the Heroes of Westerplatte.
The pilot testing of the Computer Adaptive Language Testing algorithm is scheduled in autumn 2019 in the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi.
