The Institute of State Military Management invites you to take part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference on "Current issues of military specialists training in the security and defence sector in the face of hybrid threats."

The scientific-practical conference will take place on November 12, 2020 on-line, remotely, using the Internet resources.

PURPOSE OF THE SCIENTIFIC EVENT

Discussion of current issues related to improving the quality of of security and defence sector specialists training in counteracting and combating hybrid threats.

THE CONFERENCE IS PLANNED TO COVER SUCH DIRECTIONS

Section I: "Military and scientific aspects of counteracting hybrid aggression: the experience of Ukraine"

1. System features of modern military conflicts.

2. Armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine: historical and chronological aspect.

3. Features of the use of troops (forces) during the repell of the Russian Federation armed aggression in eastern Ukraine.

4. Basics of integrated use of military and non-military forces and means of counteracting hybrid aggression.

5. Information security in the course of counteracting the hybrid aggression.

6. Strategic communications and civil-military cooperation against hybrid aggression.

7. Ways of international collective (coalition) counteraction to hybrid aggression.

Section II: “Training for Countering Hybrid Threats in Armed Conflict”

1. Training of security and defence sector personnel.

2. Psychological aspects of training officers, sergeants and soldiers to participate in the hybrid armed conflicts.

3. Actions of the armed forces during military conflicts with the signs of hybridity.

4. Actions of the police, border service and other law enforcement agencies of the security and defence sector.

5. Actions of educational institutions (including military).

6. Opportunities to create a national system for combating hybrid threats with the assistance from the NATO and the EU.

7. Changes in legislation and procedures in approaches to the participation of military and civilian professionals in hybrid conflicts.

 

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE

 

Personnel invited to participate: researchers, lecturers, postgraduacte students, doctoral students, students, cadets, representatives of military administration, goverment organizations, research organizations, higher education institutions, foreign advisers.
