International scientific and practical seminar “Manned-Unmanned Aircraft Teaming: Combat Airpower”

The Aviation Department of the Aviation and Air Defence Institute held an international scientific and practical seminar on identifying current issues and ways to improve the efficiency of the preparation and joint use of manned-unmanned combat systems.

A feature of the seminar in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic is the holding of the event in a mixed form using the latest Internet technologies. It allowed to expand the circle of participants and to involve the representatives of about twenty educational and scientific organizations and institutions, as well as military authorities, both in Ukraine and abroad. In particular, the international event was attended by the representatives of the Air Command and Staff College (USA), the Polish Air Force University (Republic of Poland), the Military Academy of Lithuania named after General Jonas Žemaitis (Lithuania).

During the seminar, the participants discussed many promising areas of joint cooperation.

The decisions has been made :

to continue scientific cooperation in the field of joint use of manned and unmanned combat systems with leading domestic and foreign educational and scientific institutions and establishments;

to introduce the results of the international scientific-practical seminar into the educational process of the Aviation and Air Defence Institute.
