The US Senior Advisor for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Carlos Bassut visited National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi [translations pending]

February 3 rd, the students of the Joint Staff Officers courses (L-3), which is being carried out by the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi, attended the lecture of the US Senior Advisor for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine  Carlos Bassut. The foreign expert told the students of the courses, currently being trained in the Military Leadership module, about the stages of becoming a commander-leader on the example of the US Army. The officers had the opportunity to discuss with the invited guest the importance of military and professional education for promotion and priorities for the development of military education in the NDU in the context of defense reform. The students also had the opportunity to share their own experience of successful career development during their military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And in turn, Carlos Bassut thanked the officers for frank discussion and wished them luck in their future career.
