The training on distance learning technology was held in Oberammergau, Germany

From 03 to 07 November 2019 in Oberammergau, Germany, the training on distance learning technology was organized and sponsored by the NATO DEEP was held.

Senior Scientist of the ADL Scientific Center of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniyakhovskyi Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Shapran and the ADL Group Officer of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Academy of Land Forces Captain Roman Manovsky participated in the training.

The duration of the training was three days, during which the following issues were considered:

theoretical bases and directions of practical implementation of distance learning technologies using xAPI, discussing and practicing methods and individual techniques of working with xAPI, considering the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches and concepts for the distance learning technology implementation using xAPI;

discussion of methods of transition from SCORM to xAPI and problems of their implementation;

demonstration and discussion of the use of virtual training classes, artificial and augmented reality technologies;

theoretical background and practical using the Learning Record Store for storing training data in xAPI;

reviewing and discussing software for creating online training courses;

practical aspects of creating and using video resources in educational e-courses;

review of NATO DEEP ADL Portal.
