Memorandum of Cooperation between National Defence University of Ukraine and Norwegian Defence University College was signed

Today, October 25, the representatives of the Norwegian University College of Defence began a visit to the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi.

The delegation, led by Major General Henning-A. Frantzen, Commandant of Norwegian Defence University College is accompanied by Commander Senior Grade Bjørn Ole Grodås, Defence Attaché of the Kingdom of Norway in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian side is headed by the first deputy commandant of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi, Lieutenant General Victor Tarasov.

The joint briefing and the solemn ceremony of signing the Memorandum of Cooperation between National Defence University of Ukraine and Norwegian Defence University College took place within the framework of the meeting.

The Memorandum defines the possibility of conducting joint research, publications and conferences. In addition, each side may provide a technical and a cultural support to other side in accordance with the Memorandum. Institutions will inform each other about the results of joint research, and will be able to exchange civilian and military researchers in order to carry out research of mutual interest.

Taking into account the mutual interest in cooperation in the field of security and defence, the conclusion of the international Memorandum will contribute to the expansion of cooperation between the leading military educational establishments of Ukraine and Norway.
