Practical training was held with the students - Navy officers on the basis of the defense-industrial complex enterprise

The representatives of the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovsky, in particular, the Naval Force Department scientific-pedagogical and scientific workers and the students of the University visited the State Enterprise "Kiev Scientific Research Institute of Hydraulic Devices", which designs and develops hydro-acoustic weapon for the Ukrainian Navy.

The event aim was to study the company's ability to create perspective navy weapon models and to identify the ways of its improvement. Thus, this event was carried out within the events complex, developed in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, for studying the experience of the latest weapon models and military equipment use.

The main attention was paid to the possibility of hydro-acoustic stations use for detecting undersurface sabotage forces and means at the Ukrainian Navy bases.

This event allowed to increase the practical orientation of training of the students - officers of the Ukrainian Navy, who study at the university.

The University Naval specialists together with the research institutions representatives identified the ways of scientific and technical activities improvement for the benefit of the Ukrainian Navy.

According to the results of the visit to the State Enterprise "Kiev Scientific Research Institute of Hydraulic Devices" the University representatives will continue the work on the development of recommendations for the Ukrainian Navy Command on priority areas for the development of perspective hydro-acoustic weapon specimens and their use in combat actions at sea.
