The representative of the university has participated in conducting a course of Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP) event at Azerbaijan Higher Military Educational Institution

The educational course “NATO DEEP Instructors workshop”, was held from November 11 to 14, 2019, and was attended by 27 instructors of the Azerbaijan Higher Military Educational Institutionnamed after G. Aliyev. Col. Yuriі Punda, Head of the Department of National Security Strategy and Defence, participated in the course as an instructor of the DEEP working group on educational development.

The program of the course was aimed at supporting and developing educational initiatives to develop leading innovative practices and learning approaches based on the experience of all NATO partners and members. Within the framework of the program, scientific and pedagogical staff of Azerbaijan Higher Military College was acquainted with the methodological principles of using the leading methods of personal-oriented training and methods of active learning, including various forms of discussion, consideration of realistic situations of Case Study, project work, feedback method.
