Representatives of the Institute of Aviation and Air Defense took part in the XV International Scientific Conference "New Technologies for the Protection of the Airspace"

During April 10-11, 2019, on the basis of Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University under the leadership of the Commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel-General Serhiy Drozdov held an international scientific conference "Advanced technologies - to protect airspace".

The conference was attended by representatives from Poland, Romania, Austria, Bulgaria and Switzerland, as well as specialists from more than 63 military units, institutions of higher education, research institutions and enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine.

During the conference, after the plenary session, a discussion of the results of the research in 22 sections was organized in various relevant areas, in which over 760 participants took part.

From the University, representatives of the Institute of Aviation and Air Defense, headed by the Chief of the Institute сolonel Vitaliy Tyurin, were actively involved in the conference.

The specialists of the Institute prepared and provided up-to-date reports on the development of operative art of the Air Forces, the automation of the control of troops (forces) in modern wars and armed conflicts, the improvement of the training and combat use of military units of the Air Forces in operations (combat operations), arms development, Air Force troops and many others.
