Representatives of the University Took Part in the International Conference “Strengthening the Quality Assurance System of Higher Education in Ukraine”

On June 11-12, 2019, colonel Vasyl Osodlo, Chief of the Humanitarian Institute, colonel Serhii Nevhad, Chief of the Scientific Center for Language Testing, and other representatives from the departments of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovkyi participated in the international conference “Strengthening the Quality Assurance System of Higher Education in Ukraine” held in Kyiv.

Lilia Hrynevych, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, First Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Science and Education, Charles Clarke, British Council expert, member of the British Parliament, in their speeches stated that today the priority of the state policy in the field of higher education is to ensure its quality.

In his turn, the head of programs of the British Council in Ukraine Simon Etherton and Yurii Rashkevych, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, noted that the English language could be an instrument for modernizing higher education and a key for European integration of Ukraine.
