Representatives of the University are the winners of the International Football Tournament

From 20 to 23 of May, 2019, the international military tournament "Baltic military cup 2019" was held in Vilnius.

The teams from the Lithuanian Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany and Ukraine took part in the competitions.

During the sport battles, the participants demonstrated their desire for victory and high professional mini-football skills.

The team of Ukraine has won two confident victories over the teams from the Republic of Lithuania with the score 10:1 and 4:0.  On the last day of the competition, our athletes in the intense fight gave way to the team of the Federal Republic of Germany, but in general they were ranked first.

It is pleasant to note that Ukrainian team included 7 representatives of the university.  By decision of the panel of judges the officer-student of the humanitarian institute of our university Roman Shostak was recognized as the best player.

The field was dominated by the atmosphere of sociability, and the participants who were rivals in the tournament became good friends and comrades.  The competitions contributed to maintaining friendly relations between servicemen of participating countries.  Sport has united all its fans, regardless of age and nationality.
