Command and staff exercises with students of the Command and Staff Course of the tactical level of the Air Force (L-2AF)

According to the university curriculum from 18 to 24 November in 2021, command and staff exercises were conducted with students of the command and staff course of the tactical level of the Air Force (L-2AF) at the Institute of Aviation and Air Defence.
The subject of the exercises considered training for combat operations and the management of a tactical aviation brigade, anti-aircraft missile, radio engineering brigades and a separate communications regiment in the defensive operation of an operational group of troops (forces)".
Students of the Command and Staff Course acted in command and staff positions of brigades (regiment).
The main attention of the Institute of Aviation and Air Defence departments’ lecturers was focused on conducting of combat operations with the use of the training and simulation complex "Virazh RD".
During the command and staff exercises, the students acquired the abilities to perform the functional duties of brigade (regiment) officials while the repulsing of enemy air strikes in the defensive operation of an operational group of troops (forces).
