A delegation of the United States Armed Forces have met with the representatives of the University

On November 19, a delegation of scientific personnel from the US Army Forces Research and Development Laboratories met with the scientific staff of the Institute of troops (forces) support and informational technologies, personnel from the Main Department of Operational Support, Center for mine clearing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Military Science Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss perspective directions of bilateral military-technical cooperation in the field of research and development, in particular in the field of ensuring the survivability of weapons and military equipment, as well as to disseminate the experience of conducting expert evaluation of combat vulnerabilities of weapons and military equipment.

Within the framework of the event, a briefing was held to discuss the results of the activities in the field of scientific research on ensuring the survivability of combat armored vehicles.

On the next day, on November 20, the representatives of the Department of Technical Support of the Institute of the troops (forces) support and information technologies have continued to participate in a briefing held at the State Research Institute for Testing and Certification of Armaments and Military Equipment (Chernihiv) and considered the results of scientific and technical activities of the institution, conducting research and testing in the field of maintenance of survivability of military equipment.

 As a result of the meeting, the representatives of the United States of America discussed the prospects of conducting international strategic research, exchanging views, experience in the field of survivability of weapons and military equipment.
