The Advisor to the Head of the University for Gender Affairs visits The Nordic Center For Gender in Military Operations

The Advisor to the Head of the University for Gender AffairsLiudmyla Krymets from 7 to 11 October is visiting the Scandinavian Center for Gender in Military Operations, where she has a possibility to train and get an interaction on gender policy military leaders and civilian staff of  NATO member states and partner countries.

Study tour for representatives of the security and defense sector of Ukraine was organized with the participation of the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the United Nations Office in U

kraine in the context of the implementation of a pilot project on integrating the gender component into the educational process of the security sector components and defense Of Ukraine.

Within the framework of the event, Liudmyla Krymets has the opportunity to learn herself with the experience of securing the principle of gender equality in the armed forces of NATO member states and to present the achievements of the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi in integrating the foundations of gender policy in the educational process.
