The Delegation of the National Defense University of Ukraine have paid a visit to the Royal Danish Defense College

The visit was organized at the invitation and with the assistance of the Danish side and was dedicated to the further development of cooperation between educational and scientific institutions. Danish Adviser to the Commander of the NDU Frank Episen took an active part in organizing and conducting the visit.

During the visit, the meetings with the college commandant, Rear Admiral Henrik Ryberg, director of the Stabilization Center David Vestenskov, and the director of the Leadership Institute Commander Vilhelm Holsting were organized.

The Ukrainian delegation got acquainted with the structure of the military education system of Denmark, the tasks and perspective directions of the Royal Defense College activities.

The discussions on the characteristics of teaching the leadership skills in the college, the specifics of the military specialists training organization in mixed form, the use of the distance learning platform in the educational process, the introduction of modern training methods and technologies in military educational institutions were held.

The parties expressed interest in conducting joint scientific events - conferences, seminars, workshops, and discussed possible directions of joint research on security issues.

Under previous arrangements, educational institutions will continue to cooperate in the development of distance learning (NDU and RDDC are members of the ADL Initiative Partner Network), the development of educational programs and the implementation of advanced education and training methods, as well as in the scientific field.
