Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC) officers conduct a course on protection of civilians in armed conflicts

On February 22-26, 2021 the National Defence University of Ukraine hosts a training course for the professors of Ukrainian military universities and schools on protection of civilians in armed conflicts. The course is conducted by the Center for Civilians in Conflicts (CIVIC), international NGO. The course’s program includes training modules to be used for teaching this discipline for the Ukrainian military.

The topics of the course are as follows: strategic value of protection of civilians; military ethos and law relevant to POC; hybrid warfare and POC; protection of the most vulnerable groups of civilians, etc. The course is held within the frame of the CIVIC’s project with the support of the European Union.
