Next year National Annual Program planning undergoes in Kyiv

Kyiv hosts a training on methodology of result based management to be used in planning, execution, monitoring, and assessment of the Annual National Program (ANP) which was organized by the Expert Deployment for Governance and Economic Growth (EDGE) Project (Canada).

The representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and StratCom Training and Education Centre of the National Defence University of Ukraine attended the event aimed at discussing the planning of the Annual National Program 2020, especially Strategic Goal 2.2 (Objective 2.2.5 Achievement of capabilities of defence forces in strategic communications).

The audience was briefed on current system of planning, execution, monitoring, and assessment of the Annual National Program, implementation of principles of result based management in order to specify in details the goals of the ANP 2020. Mentors underscored the necessity to understand the final result and build the whole structure in order to achieve this result; they also recommended avoiding focus on actions but on the desired result.

The participants formulated proposals on development of strategic communications in the nearest future which will be included in the ANP 2020.
