The University was visited by the Chief of the Royal Military College of Canada

As part of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces' international cooperation plan, Brigadier General Brian McPherson visited the University, accompanied by Colonel Robert Foster, Defense Attaché at the Canadian Embassy in Ukraine.

The foreign guests met with the command and heads of the structural units of the University.

Canadian officials were briefed on the current state of play in the area of the United Forces operation and Russia's influence on the security situation in Ukraine.

In addition, members of the delegation were briefed on the priority issues of improving military education in Ukraine in the context of defense reform, the structure, objectives of the National Defense University of Ukraine and its prospects for transforming the educational process, taking into account the experience of NATO member states and partners.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on determining the directions of further cooperation between educational establishments of Ukraine and Canada.
