University hosts two day “Democratic Civil Control over Armed Forces of Ukraine” courses for first year students

The National Defence University (the NDU) as supported by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (the OSCE) hosted the two day “Democratic Civil Control over Armed Forces of Ukraine” courses for first year fulltime students of operational and strategic levels.

The lectures were focused on civil-military relations within the Armed Forces of Ukraine, free legal support for Ukrainian service members, gender issues within the Armed Forces of Ukraine, etc.

The course was developed by the NDU Education and Research Centre for Strategic Communications in cooperation with the OSCE experts, a representative of Legal Assistance Coordination Centre, a representative of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Department of Military Education, Science, Social and Humanitarian Policy, a representative “Officers League” PO, and the NDU faculty.
