Training of the UN military observers and onboard interpreters for UN peacekeeping operations are proceeding in university

In the Multinational Staff Officers Training and Research Centre the UN Military Observer Course and Aviation Radio Communication Course for Aircrews of National Contingents are proceeding.

During the courses, officers learn UN standards on the specifics of future activities in UN peacekeeping operations, standard aviation procedures, taking into account the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization, carry out practical training to revise theoretical material.

Studying is conducted with distance learning programs, that not only help to acquire new knowledge, but also simulate situations similar to complete tasks in UN missions.

Some of the courses topics are discussed with representatives of international organizations, such as the International Committee of the Red Cross and the International Organization for Migration.
