The University hosted the celebrations on the National Flag Day and the Independence Day of Ukraine

On August the 23, the university held ceremonial events to mark the next anniversary of the State Flag Day and the Independence Day of Ukraine.  The celebration was opened by raising of the State Flag of Ukraine, which is a symbol of the historical spirit and an eternally living memory of the heroic past and no less heroic present.

- Every year on the eve of Independence Day we honor one of the main National shrines - the State Flag of Ukraine.  We cherish and honor it as the highest National sanctity.  May our flag always proudly fly over Ukraine and be a reliable guardian in all our affairs and thoughts!  Congratulations to all of you on the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine!  - The commandant of the University, Lieutenant General Anatolii Syrotenko, greeted all those present at the festivities.

The event was attended by servicemen and employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, members of their families, as well as representatives of public organizations of the University.
