The University hosted the opening of a modern sports complex on the occasion of the Day of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine

Today, on the eve of the holiday, the Day of Physical Culture and Sports, a sports holiday was held at the University, during which a new sports complex was opened with the participation of management, University personnel and invited guests.

- The new sports complex will promote the development and improvement of physical culture at the University.  I would like to thank all those who participated in the creation of this wonderful sports arena. I wish the participants of the sports holiday victories, sports happiness and success. I am convinced that thanks to such sports facilities the University will continue to maintain a high level both at the national and international levels!  - Opening ceremony was commenced by Acting Commandant of the University Lieutenant General Viktor Tarasov. Together with the Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Yurii Finohenov they cut the red ribbon and officially announced the opening of the sports competitions.

The arena of the new sports complex hosted competitions among the University's teams in various sports, namely: mini-football, volleyball, basketball (3x3), badminton, table tennis, arm sports, family relay and deck fighting.

Так, Following the results of competitions the third general team place was taken by the Institute of Aviation and Air Defense, the silver was taken by a team of 33 base of maintenance of educational process of the University, and the team of the Institute of troops (forces) support and information technologies became champions.

Participants of the sports holiday enjoyed sports battles and recharged their energy for further work.
