The graduation of operational-strategic and operational-tactical levels students was held at the University

Today, June 18, solemn graduation of operational-strategic and operational-tactical levels military specialists took place at the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Defenсe, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the representatives of the diplomatic corps.

- Currently, the Ukrainian army is in the process of radical change and improvement.  The leadership of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine is set to radically increase and improve the military potential of our army.  And I am sure that the University educates and produces real military leaders, who, thanks to the knowledge and skills acquired during the training and their own combat experience, will help to realize these plans.  I express my words of support and greetings from the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and from myself personally and sincerely believe in you as real modern military commanders! - Minister of Defence of Ukraine Andrii Taran. 

Due to the quarantine restrictions in the country, the graduation ceremony was held in compliance with sanitary requirements and a limited number of participants.  About 200 full-time students received their master's degrees during the ceremony.  The rest, almost 500 officers, who studied remotely and passed final tests using the ADL platform, will be awarded diplomas according to a separate plan.

Most of the NDU graduates have taken part in combat missions.  Among them are the Hero of Ukraine, the commander of the legendary 10-th separate mountain assault brigade, Colonel Vasyl Zubanych, as well as the commander of the Airborn Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Yevhen Moisiuk.
