The sergeants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced level non-residential course has been completed at the University

Today, on February 21, 2020, the participants of the advanced level sergeant course have completed their training at the center of retraining and professional development.

The training was designed to provide military personnel, who are scheduled for the appointment as a senior level sergeants, the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties at the required level and to train sergeants, capable of working with  subordinate personnel, as well as directly manage or participate in the management of the unit.

In addition to the scientific and pedagogical personnel of the University and a group of seargent-instructors, which was formed of the most experienced representatives of the seargent coreof the Armed Forces of Ukraine, representatives of partner countries were involved in the training.

In particular, the sergeants advanced training effectiveness assessment and its consistency with the principles and approaches adopted by the NATO forces were carried out by NATO-led instructors of the NATO Defence Education Enhancement Program (DEEP) – representatives of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Lithuania.

The graduates were greeted by the Deputy Commandant of the University for Academic Affairs Major General Serhii Salkutsan on the successful completion of the courses. In his speech he stated that the graduates received the up-to-date knowledge and skills and acquired the ability to manage the subordinate personnel and make management decisions.
