On May 7, 2019, a practical training session with the use of the Simulation Modeling System (JCATS) was conducted within the framework of international cooperation activities between the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the International Committee of the Red Cross at the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovsky.   The first-year students were involved into the training.

The purpose of the event is to provide practical skills to law enforcement officers in applying international humanitarian law during hostilities.

The event was held with participation of scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Legal Support, students of the Humanitarian Institute of the National University of Defence named after Ivan Chernyakhovsky and representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
