Lecturers of the Joint Special Operations University of the United States (JSOU, Florida) held a seminar at the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi

Lecturers of the Joint Special Operations University of the United States Special Operations Command, in cooperation with the Department of Airborne Troops and Special Operations Forces academic staff held a seminar at the University.

During the seminar, the participants discussed the topics such as the integration of the Special Operations Forces in the system of integrated defence, the interaction of the SOF with other kinds of troops, the compatibility of the SOF of Ukraine with NATO members units, the ability to form a resistance movement.

 Also the students were familiarized with the procedures for special operations planning according to the standards and procedures of the North Atlantic Alliance.

 The Joint Special Operations University of the United States Special Operations Command were represented by mr. Michael Ripas, Strategic Adviser on the SOF, also as two – mr. Hendrick Gerard van Den and mr. Armin Paul-Prosler.

 Both academic staff and the students of the Command and Staff Institute of Troops (Forces) Employment and State Military Management Institute of the University took part in this seminar.
