With the assistance of the Norwegian Embassy in Ukraine, a new edition of the book "Security in Northern Europe, Containment, Defense and Dialogue" was presented at the National Defense University of Ukraine.

The event was attended by representatives of the military-diplomatic corps accredited in Ukraine, listeners, research and teaching staff of the NDU.

The publication was edited by Colonel Jon Andreas Ulsen, Attaché on Defense of the Kingdom of  Norway in the United Kingdom, who told the audience about the subject matter of the book, its relevance and its target audience.

In particular, the publication outlines the views of leading European experts on the development of a defense and security system for Northern Europe.

Deputy Сommander of the NDU of Education, Major General Sergey Salkutsan noted that the university continues to develop cooperation in the educational and scientific fields with NATO member countries. The Defense Office of Norway provides active support for the NDU, so the presentation of a book for military diplomats within the university is another step towards strengthening partnerships and friendships.
