The University experts noted that the L-5 Strategic Management and Public Policy course is the final stage in the training of senior officers and civil servants. The urgency of the course is due to the need of improving the synergy of state efforts and military administration in the interests of national security and defence capabilities of Ukraine. The main goal is to train military officials, civilian personnel and civil servants who serve at the highest professional level in close connection with the political and administrative level.

It was emphasized that the best scientific and pedagogical personnel of the University, as well as invited state officials in the field of national security and defence will be appointed as supervisors during the L-5 course. Moreover, the training program will include a visit of students to public administration bodies, in particular to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Office of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine and ministries responsible for the implementation of the defence policy.
