The Scientific-Practical Conference "Philosophical-Sociological and Psychological-Pedagogical Problems of Preparing the Person for the Performing of Tasks in Special Conditions"has successful

The Scientific-Practical Conference "Philosophical, Sociological and Psychological-Pedagogical Problems of  Preparing the Person to Perform Tasks in Special Conditions" was organized by the Department of Social Sciences of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi with the participation of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine; The Main Department of Moral and Psychological Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; The National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine in October 31, 2019.

The participants of the conference noted that today's difficult situation calls for a qualitatively new perspective on the content of social and humanitarian policy in the security and defense sector, which in modern conditions becomes one of the determining factors of the state's defense capability, prestige of military service, staffing of the army and, ultimately, its combat readiness and combat ability.

The speakers emphasized the need to update the conceptual framework for the training of military specialists as modern military leaders and argued that the challenges facing military education in connection with the transformation of the socio-political situation in Ukraine are of a conceptual nature, since their solution involves changing its ways.
