November 21 — the Day of Dignity and Freedom

21.11.2025

November 21 marks a day that forever changed the trajectory of Ukraine’s history. A day when millions of citizens stood up to defend their dignity and freedom — our European path.

The Revolution of Dignity and the Orange Revolution revealed the strength of the Ukrainian spirit, our ability to unite in decisive moments, and our responsibility for our state. Today, this strength is evident both at the front and in the rear — in the daily struggle against Russian aggression.

Ukrainian soldiers are defending the very values for which people stood on the Maidan: freedom, the right to be masters of our own land, and a future that we build with our own hands.

The National Defence University of Ukraine continues its mission — to train leaders who understand the true price of freedom and the responsibility they bear for their country. Our officers, cadets, faculty, and staff prove every day that dignity is not an event but a principle that shapes decisions and actions.

I extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who serves Ukraine, safeguards our statehood, teaches, supports, and strengthens our Armed Forces. Together, we reinforce the defence of our country and bring Victory closer.

May freedom, honor, and unwavering faith in Ukraine’s resilience always live in our hearts.
Glory to Ukraine!
