The graduation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine servicemen who were trained in the foreign language courses at the retraining and improving qualification centre, was held at the University.

On February 3, the Foreign Languages Education and Research Centre of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi hosted the graduation ceremony of another group of trainees who had completed a training course for part-time language training instructors of military units and management bodies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The program of this three-day course involved studying the basics of organization and methods of teaching English to military audiences. This time, the graduates of the course were nine servicemen, who will shortly commence teaching English to their colleagues in their units. As decided by Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, designated military personnel of the Armed Forces, except conscripts, have now possibility to start studying English, now being a subject of their individual training, under the guidance of language training instructors – directly at their duty stations.

In order to improve the skills of financial and economic bodies` representatives of the MoD`s and the General Staff`s structural units, students` training in professional military education and advanced training on the financial support organization for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been launched. The courses are held in the National University of Defense of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi.

A one-week refresher course for scientific and pedagogical staff of the National University of Defence of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi within the framework of NATO's DEEP (Defence Education Enhancement Program) has been completed.

January 24 - 26, 2022 the representatives from the NDUU demonstrated the developed program software for conducting the computer adaptive language testing (CALT) according to the NATO STANAG 6001 requirements during the international online meetings.

The event on the basis of the National Defence University named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi of Ukraine is part of the Ukraine-NATO Cooperation Plan for 2022. The launched course is the fourth stage in the research and teaching staff pedagogical skills improvement for the successful implementation of measures to transform educational programs for the training of officers-leaders of strategic and operational levels (L-courses).

On January 21, 2022, Liudmyla Krymets, Advisor to the Head of the University on Gender Issues, took part in a meeting of the Network of Gender Advisors for the Protection of Women's and Men's Rights in Ukraine chaired by the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy in cooperation with the Warsaw Bureau for Democratic Institutions and Rights OSCE.

Scientific Distance Learning Center of The National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi presented an electronic educational and methodical manual “Theory and Practice of Distance Learning in the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, Part 2 “E-learning System of Higher Military Educational Institutions and Military Educational Units of Higher Education Institutions” (Chapter 5).

On January 17, 2022, the Elective Course on ADL technologies implementation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine was launched at the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi to meet the requirements of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the field of transformation of sergeants’ individual training.

As part of the implementation of the Strategic Defence Bulletin of Ukraine, the Training and Research Centre for Defence Management of the University together with the Department of Military Policy and Strategic Planning of the Ministry of Defence organized an educational course with specialists from the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff.
