- University representatives joined the discussion on a unified action plan to implement NATO recommendations on integrity in the security and defence sector
Representatives of the Research Centre for Integrity Education and Corruption Prevention in the Security and Defence Sector of the National Defence University of Ukraine (BITEC) participated in the discussion of a unified action plan to implement NATO recommendations under Goal 0204 ‘Building Integrity’ of the Ukraine-NATO Interoperability Roadmap.

The event was coordinated by the National Agency for Corruption Prevention with the involvement of the NATO Representation in Ukraine, the Centre for Integrity in the Defence Sector at the Norwegian Ministry of Defence (CIDS), the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, representatives of security and defence agencies, and other ministries.

Participants discussed the draft unified plan and agreed on the next steps for further implementation of policies and procedures to promote the principles of integrity, transparency and accountability, as well as the development of relevant institutional capacities to reduce corruption in the security and defence sector.

During the meeting, BITEC representatives provided proposals on tasks and measures related to the centre's areas of activity.
