Greeting of the Сommandant of the National Defence University of Ukraine on the Beginning of the 2025–2026 Academic Year

Dear cadets, students, postgraduates, doctoral candidates, researchers, academic staff, and all who shape the history of the National Defence University of Ukraine!

We begin the new academic year at a time when the word “defence” means not only academic knowledge but also daily responsibility to the state. Our university is the flagship of military education, where the elite of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is formed — officers of a new generation, leaders who know how to think strategically, act decisively, and lead others.

Within the walls of the National Defence University of Ukraine, combat experience and the power of science merge into one. We train commanders capable of making decisions in conditions of uncertainty, shaping new approaches in the art of war, and strengthening the might of our army.

I believe in each of you. Your choice is a choice of service. Your knowledge, resilience, and dedication grow into a powerful weapon that rivals the most advanced technologies.
