Congratulations from the Commandant of the National Defence University of Ukraine on Unity Day of Ukraine

22.01.2026

Happy Unity Day of Ukraine!

I sincerely congratulate all citizens of Ukraine on Unity Day — a day that embodies the indivisibility of our state, the unity of our people, and their unwavering aspiration to live in a free, independent, and strong country.

January 22 has become a symbol of the historic choice of Ukrainians — to stand together regardless of borders, differences, or external pressure. Unity is not only about territorial integrity; above all, it is our shared responsibility for the future of the state, for preserving national identity, freedom, and dignity.

Today, this idea is facing its greatest trial. Ukraine is once again defending its right to exist, to determine its own path of development, and to ensure the security of its citizens. In this struggle, unity is reflected in the solidarity between the front line and the home front, in mutual support, and in society’s ability to remain resilient despite pain and loss.

I am convinced that only together can we preserve our state, protect its values, and pass on to future generations a strong, united, and secure country.

I wish all Ukrainians faith in their own strength, endurance, wisdom, and resilience. May Unity Day strengthen our national cohesion and inspire us toward our shared Victory for the sake of Ukraine.

Glory to a united, independent, and indivisible Ukraine!
Together — toward Victory!
