Department of cyber warfare

The department is headed by

It provides training for highly qualified military specialists at the second (master’s) level in the field of knowledge K “Security and Defense”, in the specialty K6 “Support of Troops (Forces)”, with a specialization in “Organization and Conduct of Cyber Warfare”, leading to the professional qualification “Professional in the Organization and Conduct of Cyber Warfare, Officer of the Operational Level of Military Education.”

The department also participates in the training of military specialists at the second (master’s) level of higher education in the field of knowledge K “Security and Defense” under the following specialties K3 “National Security (by specific areas of provision and types of activity)” – strategic level of military education; K5 “Military Management (by branches of the armed forces)”; K6 “Support of Troops (Forces)” – operational level of military education; as well as in professional military education courses for officers of the operational level (L-3) and advanced training courses on cyber warfare issues.

Ongoing work is carried out on the study of problems in the development of the cyber defense system, as the main means of deterrence and repulsion of military aggression in cyberspace.

Since its establishment, the department’s personnel have compiled several volumes of the Collection of Information and Analytical Materials on Combat Experience in Cybersecurity, obtained during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
