General information

The Department of logistics support, as a structural subdivision of the Institute of Logistics and Support of Troops (Forces), is intended for training students of strategic and operational levels of training in reasonable forms and methods of management activities regarding the organization of logistical support and its management in peacetime and wartime.

Educational activities of the department:

The department of logistics support carries out its activities in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution and current legislation of Ukraine, the Laws of Ukraine "On Education", "On Higher Education", "On Scientific and Scientific and Technical Activities" and is guided by the requirements of the joint orders of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine and the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The department of logistics support takes part in the training of trainees of the strategic and operational level, of all specialties and specializations.

The department of rear support prepares students of the operational level of specialty К6 "Support of troops (forces)" specialization "Organization of logistic support".

Scientific and pedagogic employees of the department of logistics support train students in all directions at advanced training and professional level courses of the Center for retraining and advanced training of the National University of Defense of Ukraine.

Scientific and scientific and technical activity

The department conducts scientific research in the following areas:

  • improving the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine based on the experience of the russian-ukrainian war;
  • development of forms and methods of training, use of forces and means of logistical (rear) support of operational groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Today, the department continues to train logistics specialists for the State Defense Forces.
