Education

Education in the institute is carried out in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine orders, other regular legal acts of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the General Staff authorities about education of military specialists and award of higher education degrees such as “Bachelor”, “Master”, “Doctor of Philosophy” and “Doctor of Sciences”, the academic degree.

Over the years of the institute`s existence, more than 5000 professionals have been educated, the graduates have been honoured with:

• diploma with honours and the gold medal “For the high achievements in education” – 12;
• diploma with honour – 42;
• the Cossack sabre of the times of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi – 3.

27 officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 1 officer of the National Guard, who studied at the institute, are honoured with the Hero of Ukraine title.

The Command and Staff Institute of troops (forces) employment was determined as the best institute of the National Defence University of Ukraine according to the results of such competition in 2023.
